Frequently asked questions

  • What Facial Products Should I be Using

While every person is unique in their skin's needs, a good baseline routine includes 4 steps.

    1. Cleanse using a cleanser designed to be safe for facial skin as soap is too harsh. 2. Treat using exfoliants, serums, or medications designed to address your skin concerns. 3. Balance using a moisturizer to seal in treatment products, lock in hydration, and restore pH balance. 4. Protect using sun protection every morning, regardless of season or weather.

  • Does waxing hurt

Waxing discomfort varies from person to person. As some of us tend to feel pain more than others, we advise yo to avoid drinking caffeine or alcohol before your appointment, and feel free to take on OTC pain reliever ~20 minutes before your appointment (with your doctor’s approval) if you are concerned about it.

  • How often should i get a facial

Skincare goals can fall into such a wide range of needs, but generally, we recommend getting a facial every 4 weeks. When tackling more pervasive issues, it may be every 2-6 weeks, depending on your suggested treatment plan.

  • What is a brow lamination

Eyebrow lamination is a chemical process in which your brow hairs are relaxed and reshaped in order to appear fuller and more tidy… essentially a perm! Our lamination service includes 4 steps: relaxing, shaping, tinting, and nourishing.

  • What is a vajacial

A vajacial is the perfect post-intimate wax service for women that helps calm the skin and treat conditions like ingrown hairs, hyper pigmentation, and dehydration. The service includes cleansing, treating, soothing, and hydrating the skin with a customized selection of products and modalities.

  • How often should i clean my makeup brushes

We know that bacteria from our faces can grow quickly on makeup brushes, causing issues such as breakouts, clogged pores, and uneven makeup application. We recommend cleaning your brushes at least once a week, and bringing them in for a full disinfection service once month.

  • How long do lash extensions last

As our natural lashes continue to shed daily, you will lose 3-5 artificial lashes per eye, per day. Most people enjoy getting a “fill-in” every 2 to 3 weeks, but it all depends on your lifestyle and retention.
